I was hoping to see the Sci Fi movie ‘Moon’ when it was on the big screen a few months ago, but missed out.
So was excited to see it in my video library on the weekend.
For those who may not be aware of it, it is a movie directed by Duncan Jones – not heard of him? He is actually David Bowies son. Yep ‘Zowie’ !
I enjoyed the movie very much – it revolves around a guy named ‘Sam Bell’ who is the sole employee of ‘Lunar Industries’ on the Moon where helium is being mined.
It has a bit of 2001 A Space Odyssey about it, but has some clever twists.
An interesting note is that Kevin Spacey is the voice of the computer ‘Gerty’.
