Update 8:50 SA time (6:20pm WA time)
We left Ceduna quite late, as this was the day after the change in time zone where we lost 150 minutes.
(I hope we can spend the night there on the way back, the oysters were delightful)
Spent a frustrating hour trying to get a side mirror fitted, but got away eventually.
So we drove across the Eyre Peninsula (very dry and arid!), stopped in Port Augusta for 20 minutes to buy supplies, then down to Port Pirie. Had fish and Chips @ Barnacles Bills, located in a 140 year old Congregational Church.
This leg today breaks the back of the trip to Tassie. We should be in Melbourne Friday afternoon, after two relatively short hops over the next two days. And the scenery will much more interesting over those two days.
All for now – will have a relaxing hour or so plotting a course to avoid Adelaide 🙂
