Glad to hear you are back on home soil, so to speak. You’ve certainly packed a lot into your holiday. Hope your head cold clears for your trip home Jenny. As I write we are watching Wimbledon (Hewitt). Look forward to your return.

Thanks for the neat postcard which arrived today.
Good to get news of your travels. Beware of the e-coli!!
Hopefully the vocanic ash cloud over Oz will have cleared before your return.

Choir trip to Denmark went well. Otherwise all as normal here and keeping busy. Dali Lama visit on Sunday.

Please send me your flight details for the pickup – I only know Tuesday 28th 6am.

You are certainly moving around. I am sorry to hear about your dad but glad he is recovering well. Brilliant that he has reached 90. Life here has been good, busy with conferences and submissions. Volcano ash stuffing up Melbourne airport and earthquakes destroying the last of Christchurch but all otherwise ok!

Interested to note how you enjoyed the rain in KL and by now you might have had enough. At last we’re having a few wet days in a row here. Probably dry up again before you get home.

Hi Jenny and Dave – well I was wondering what had happened to the blog – good to have you back on line! Glad the birthday party went well and that you’ve managed to do some sight-seeing – before the volcanic ash covers everything.
Yes Jen, studies are going excrutiatingly. I am desperately trying to learn the entire ICD-10 for our clin psych exam next Monday – a fruitless taks I fear. Your Barlow is getting a thorough workout!
Joyce is still alive – and flooded with students. We will catch up on Friday week.
I hope Spain and France will be a bit warmer – keep in touch, its great to hear about where you are and what you are experiencing

Thanks Kay – The Queen has been and gone, but today is Barack’s day – blanket coverage on TV and Radio. And what with the Queen, Barack and the passing of Garret Fitzgerald – Ireland has certainly been in the news over the last couple of weeks. And today there was quite a storm in the Northern part of the island & not to mention the Icelandic eruption !!!! Will we will be able to fly back to England on Wednesday? All will be revealed, stay tuned! D&J
